Don't Wish it all Away.....
I am an avid complainer. Yes, like most of us I can spontaneously pick out things to complain about. I don't need time to reflect or really thing about them they just pop out at me. Why? Why do we complain about so much when there's so much to enjoy and appreciate? Think about it for a moment... as I am typing this right now...what wouldn't a blind person do to be able to see this computer screen or how much would an amputee love to be able to type. I complain about simple things and most of all time...wishing it away like I was going to live forever and like I was going to see the people around me for the rest of my life. I'm not. While we are busy wishing time away...our life continues on without us knowing, and people move on, move away, or die and then, well, we wish we could of had more time. So just for a minute we should stop and consider this: While our lives may be hectic, sad, tearful, and just downright mean sometimes...we ARE alive and we always have a choice on how we want to view things. We have abilities that some people will never be able to experience. While I count down the days to my Christmas vacation I have to stop and think that maybe studying for the next 8 days won't be so bad. Maybe, it will give me more time with my friends, my family, my inlaws, and to myself. For we never really know what the new year has in store and it may not hold all the things that we hold dear to us now. So enjoy life, the good and what we sometimes refer to as the bad, and take it with a grain of salt. Tomorrow may not always come and today just may be it so put on your sunglasses and look at it from a different perspective and you may just be surprised and enlightened.
