When I lived in Ontario a few years back my friend put the name "eener" on me which is of course just my name spelled backwards. This then became my name at the workplace and I would answer to it just as if it was written on my birth certificate:-D
Funny thing is it turns out according to the dictionary that "eener" actually means
"A nickname for a girl that goes to a stupid school."
Used in a sentence: OMG, that girl is a total Eener.

How appropriate is that? All this time the truth was right before my eyes and I didn't even realize it. I mean I always thought that school was stupid but now I have official documentation that confirms what I've been complaining about all along. I knew it! I knew that it just wasn't my inituition, it apparently is fact. This sheds a new light to the line "it's all in a name" in my case this is true indeed.
Eener....

hmmm.... I must be an eener too...
I realize that this is a very old post, but had to comment because someone made up the same nickname for me (for the same reason, my first name spelled backwards) when I was a junior in high school (20 years ago) . . . To this day, some of my best friends still call me Eener (or Eens for short) . . .
